Sadly, we have once again come to that time of year when local restaurants seem to be closing in mass. The Neighborhood Nest has been one of our favorite local bakeries. Located on 313 W. Main St. in Fairborn, OH, The Neighborhood Nest is a bakery specializing in gluten-free cakes, brownies, pies, and cookies. They also have many dairy-free and vegan options. As someone with dietary restrictions, it was wonderful to find a place where I could get delicious things like pizza without worrying about suffering for it later. I will definitely miss this business and can only hope that the owners open another shop somewhere nearby.
