Where you can go to get out of the house for Halloween

Apologies in advance for the excessive Halloween-themed posts that are headed your way. I have been working on a lot of posts, and Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. It is also one of the busiest times at work for me right now, so that means a lot of the posts that I have wanted to write or updates about my adventures are going to be late in the season. Hopefully, a lot of these ideas or events can be repeated for next Halloween!

Outdoor Fun with Friends:

  1. Try an escape room in costume
  2. Picnic at an abandoned landmark/ place/cemetery ( if safe and allowed)
  3. Plan a trip to a Ghost Town
  4. Take a Ghost Tour
  5. Go on a Halloween Hayride
  6. Run a Halloween-themed 5k

Fun with kids:

  1. Go to a place with lots of fall foliage
  2. Road trip to a farm where they can see animals
  3. Show them an apple orchard and pick some apples if allowed
  4. Road trip to a pumpkin patch
  5. Go somewhere where you can take a tractor ride
