Troy and Piqua

A couple weeks ago we did a short Saturday adventure to the towns of Troy and Piqua.

Our first stop was too an amazing breakfast place called redberry.

redberry is located on 914 North Market Street in Troy, Ohio.

My husband and I stopped by a little bit before 1:00pm and this place was packed. Once we had tried the food, I can definitely see why.

I had the steel-cut oatmeal with berries, nuts, and bananas. I also had a hazelnut iced coffee which was super good and just the right amount of sweet.

We will definitely be trying this place again if we get the opportunity.

Our next stop was a two for one with the Gacha Gacha Station and Nippon Japanese Food Store.

If you don’t know capsule machines or Gacha Gacha machines are vending machines for plastic toys or collectibles.

See my Moomin and snoopy prizes below

You can also find some Gacha machines from this same business at the Fairfield Commons Mall.

Next store to Gacha Gacha Station is Nippon Food Store.

A Japanese food store with all sorts of imported items and fresh baked goods. We even procured some freshly made onigiris.

Are there any places like this where you live?

Let me know in the comments below and thanks so much for sharing in this first adventure!
